Gaw Yan Gyi Island, located in the South-West part of the country, Ayeyarwaddy region’s Ngayoke Kaung township, at least 8-hour drive from Yangon (if there is no traffic). If you start your journey from Yangon to Gaw Yan Gyi in the early morning around 5 am, you can reach there around 2 or 3 PM by car as some parts of the route are so bumpy.
