The Day Trip to Wingabaw Elephant Camp with Phandeeyar

2019-03-06edit MyoMinThu

Wingabaw Elephant Camp I don’t usually wake up early in the morning since I’ve been used to working late into the night on almost a daily basis. This is why I haven’t had the opportunity to marvel at the beauty of Yangon’s morning landscapes for quite some time now. But this fated morning of the 17th of February, I decided to wake up at around 5:30AM since I have to be at the 8-Mile bus stop before 7AM for this month’s Phandeeyar monthly community activity. Phandeeyar always provides monthly activities for its community. Monthly activities are very effective for fostering communication between all the people within a really fun environment. Usually, everyone is so busy during the official office times, so the monthly activities offer the rare chance to take a break and interact with fellow peers in a casual atmosphere. When I started working at Phandeeyar, I had no friend to talk, and I felt that it was such a boring place to be in. After attending a couple of monthly activities, most of my co-workers have become like family to me who are always ready to help when I’m in need.
