The Inle Sanctuary,Phayartaung
Hotel Overview
Peaceful resort in the second part of Inle Lake, also known as Sakar Lake (or "Samga" Lake) near the village of Phayartaung (Southern Shan State, Myanmar). The lodges stand for community-based tourism. Within minutes you can walk into Phayartaung village where the locals warmly welcome you. From the hotel place, you can also venture on one of the several trekking routes up to Tiree Cave, Kantaw Village or one of the closer villages nearby. You can also swim or row around the bungalows on one of our traditional canoes. Each of the lodges has been built to the highest standards using traditional and locally sourced materials such as hardwood and bamboo. Breakfast and Dinner are served at the Hotel Dining Room. Each day hotel creates a special menu, based on what their chef can source locally.
