Hotel Overview
ViewPoint Eco-Lodge sits on the edge of the canal leading to the magnificent Inle Lake in the colorful Southern Shan State village of Nyaung Shwe. The Lodge is walking distance to the village of Nyaung Shwe, and is a 40-minute drive from Heho Airport and also an 18-hole golf course. All are easily affordable without compromising comfort, amenities or the unique atmosphere of the Lodge. All Cottage Suites are built on pilings on the ViewPoint lake using traditional Shan eco-friendly construction. The Lodge and Cottages are built with local limestone, mud and rice straw, and reinforced with wooden beams. All suites have modern bathrooms and are equipped with wireless internet, telephone, LCD TV, unlimited movies and music. ViewPoint is the only lodge in the Shan region boasting two restaurants that blend excellent local and continental cuisine and wines, room service, together with Swiss management.
